Yuzu Puree Spec Sheet
Sourced from Miyazaki, Japan, fresh-off-the-tree yuzu fruit is picked at peak ripeness. Shigetoshi Kurano, a 5th generation farmer knows when his fruit is ready. He has navigated through the relentless environmental influences all year and knows the quality of his crop compared to other years. This is a good year. His fruit grows on some of the most prized terroir in the region and is widely recognized for its bright floral aroma and tart-sweet, citrus flavor. As autumn approaches, this region is decorated with the golden yellow jewels of the yuzu trees. This time of year is celebrated in the small towns with festivals because, here, yuzu is the first crop harvested.
