Tamarind Puree Spec Sheet
Sourced from the Tangtrongchit farm located in the Phetchabun region of Northern Thailand, the trees of which were planted by the patriarch’s father and grandfather. As the saying goes, “he who plants tamarind, doesn’t harvest the tamarind.” A reference to the length of time these trees take to bear fruit. This puree is made using the prized, Makham Waan variety of Tamarind that this region is known for. This is the naturally sweet variety that is famously used in Phad Thai and can be eaten straight out of the pod as a snack.
