Soursop Puree Spec Sheet
Located in the Tan Phu commune which rests within the city limits of Ho Chi Minh City is a co-op of soursop growers that tend to the finest trees in the region. This region for centuries has been well known for growing rice, but saline intrusion and acidic soils have forced farmers to cultivate different crops and soursop has thrived here. The trees here are harvested twice a year, before rainy season and before the Lunar New Year, known as Tet. Enjoyed for its uniquely tropical aroma, flavor and texture, soursop has primary flavor notes of mango and pineapple, with undertones of strawberry. A slight tart citrus characteristic is present, which helps balance the creamy coconut/banana-like texture.
