Lemon Grass Puree Spec Sheet
Originating from the Tan Phu Dong Region of the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. Farmers in this region almost exclusively cultivated rice until environmental challenges forced them to find other crops that can handle the salt water intrusion that occurs during the dry season and Lemongrass flourishes here. It grows so well here, that it is common to see it planted on almost every inch of vacant land as these farmers can often get 3 to 4 times the profit they get from rice. Lemongrass is highly desired for it’s unique flavor profile of citrus, mint and ginger without bitterness.
