Buddha’s Hand Puree Spec Sheet
Originating from the San Joaquin Valley in Northern California. Buddha’s Hand has only been successfully growing here since the early 1980’s. This incredible citrus fruit is certainly exotic looking but the aroma and flavor is truly remarkable. Picked at the peak of freshness generally between November to January. Treasured primarily for it’s thick rind which is loaded with flavor and essential oils as well as the bright, fresh floral aroma and tart, sweet flavor. Buddha’s Hand possesses nuances of bergamot, mandarin, meyer lemon and kumquat.
