Acerola Puree Spec Sheet

Acerola, or Thai Cherry comes out of the Tien Giang province on the north side of Mekong River delta in southern Vietnam.  The majority of the Acerola exported to the US comes out of Brazil and is a milder, less exciting fruit than those from this region of Vietnam.  Acerola from this region is among the highest vitamin C content in the world and naturally an excellent antioxidant.  Working with growers here, we have been able to harvest the fruit a bit later in the ripe cycle so the fruit possesses a slight sweetness.  The overall flavor of the fruit is a bright tart-sweet citrus flavor with subtleties of Fuji Apple.
